Lea-Ann Belter Custom Gown Bride – Elysse

When Elysse and Jeff re-connected on Facebook, sparks flew!

“Jeff and I attended the same high school in Orange County, CA but never really crossed paths until we both finished college and by a chance encounter on Facebook! After 4 years of dating, Jeff proposed on my 27th birthday.”

The two had a lot in common, especially a love of travel, which became the theme of their wonderful wedding reception at Hanger 244 at the Orange County Great Park on March 10, 2012.

“Jeff is an Aerospace Engineer and I am in the food manufacturing business as a Food Safety & Quality Compliance Auditor. Jeff builds and certifies planes, and hopes to one day acquire his private pilot’s license. I travel around the world (flying on planes) visiting and inspecting suppliers and business partners. We hoped to incorporate our shared love of traveling and with the help of our wedding planners and designers (In the Now Weddings + Events) – they helped secure a fabulous location and with every little detail we imagined!”

When choosing her wedding gown, Elysse knew she wanted a dress that made her heart sing as much as Jeff did….so she headed to the Ivory Suite.

“My sorority sister, Monika, recommended The Ivory Suite in Pasadena because she is great friends with co-owner Nicole. I was very impressed with Lea-Ann’s elegant designs and wanted something classic and figure flattering for my wedding. When I arrived at The Ivory Suite, I was floored by how light Lea-Ann’s dresses were and could tell they were made with love. After initially selecting Lucy as my dress, I brought my mom back for a second opinion. We both loved the neckline, beading and the ruching on Allison – but I preferred the slim A line skirt on Lucy. It was really hard to pick which dress, I wanted both! Thankfully, The Ivory Suite informed me that I could have the Lucy Skirt made with the Allison bodice. I also added in a custom bolero to complete the look. When the dress arrived, we decided that for comfort, to add a corset lacing back. My dress was truly a one of a kind creating and I felt so gorgeous in it. Thanks to The Ivory Suite and Lea-Ann Belter, they truly made the dress shopping and selection process easy!”
