From Sketch to Dress – Coco

Using silk organza and lace, Lea-Ann wanted to communicate a feeling of softness and ease while still remaining sleek. As she sketched, a trumpet silhouette with cascading tiers of silk organza scattered with hand-cut lace flower appliqués emerged.

From Sketch To Dress – Jemma

When Lea-Ann designed Jemma, she had in mind a classic bride who’s drawn to contemporary simplicity. Picturing a polished ball gown crafted from light, eco-friendly silk dupioni, Lea-Ann moved on to sketch out Jemma’s details.

“I didn’t want the entire bodice to be covered with lace because that would look too traditional, so I added the draping at the waist to give it a modern twist.”
