At Lea-Ann Belter Bridal, we’re lucky to spend our days knee-deep in wedding gowns and romance. But that doesn’t stop us from mooning over romantic movies at night.

Bridesmaids (the movie): While we hope your dress shopping goes a lot better than what this bride experienced, the underlying thread of friendship in this movie is really sweet (and also funny).

When immersed in the romance, excitement and hectic pace of a planning a wedding, a pre-nuptial vacation for two never looked better.
Except that pesky old thing called work and a budget always seem to get in the way.
Portable and probably already on your shelf, books are perfect for a quick (and cheap) getaway, especially those whose plots feature weddings. That way, you can tell anyone who asks that you’re doing research.
Crack open one or two of these classics and after a few pages you’ll feel better, we promise!

During the creation of a bridal gown – as with lots of things (like a wedding) – things don’t always go according to plan.
Which actually is often a good thing!
When Lea-Ann designed Eleanor, she envisioned a sophisticated, airy, romantic gown, sketching out hand-cut, appliquéd lace, soft box pleats, and structured bodice.

When buying other garments, the interaction with a salesperson is usually confined to a transaction.
Not so with a bridal gown!
Women will often visit us at our Toronto flagship store or our retail partners in the US, Canada and UK several times before choosing the gown that’s right for them. While helping a bride in her search, we learn all about her fiancé’, her family and her wedding day vision.
